That was very fast. MuscleNerd, the brain of the iPhone Dev Team, today has posted on his Twitter account some screenshots and pictures of iOS 5 beta 1 already jailbroken. He confirmed that the jailbreak will work on iOS 5 final version but tethered jailbreak till now which means you'll have to connect your iOS device to your computer everytime you reboot it.


MuscleNerd has confirmed that Cydia works fine on jailbroken iPod touch 4G. The exploit used in this jailbreak is Geohot's Limera1n exploit which was released few months ago. You can take a look at our full coverage of iOS 5 features and availability.
